This past term we have been studying poetry. We were studing

Eaten  
It wasn’t my fault
You left your lunch
Open for me to eat
I was just very hungry
You must be mad
But I am sorry
For eating your
Delicious ham sandwich

But forgive me
I was blinded
By hunger.
