Poetry reflection.

This past term we have been focusing on the different structures of poetry.

I've enough learning more about the different structures of poetry.

I found making my own poem very challenging because it was hard to think of something that would be good to write about.

I feel a lot more confident about writing poems because I've been practicing a lot and I now have a better understanding of poetry.

Eaten  

It wasn’t my fault

You left your lunch

Open for me to eat

I was just very hungry

You must be mad

But I am sorry

For eating your

Delicious ham sandwich

But forgive me

I was blinded

By hunger.

Mr. Vic Tamiti

Mr. Vic Tamiti came and talked to the junior school about family violent.
He talked about his back story and the way he was raised.
The story he told was very touching, and at some point it was very shocking.
When I first walked in I though it was just some guy talking about how family violent is bad not some guy talking about his past.
The one thing I won't forget is when he said he was wearing a red thermal but he said it was an orange one instead.    
I would reckon this talk to everyone because it was a great and a very inspiring speech.
